Charles Codner, LCSW, LICSw

Charles Codner is a licensed clinical social worker, holding an LICSW in Massachusetts and an LCSW in California. With over five years of experience in outpatient therapy and medical social work, he has dedicated his career to helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges. Charles earned his Master of Social Work degree from Boston College and has also completed a certificate program in Trauma Studies.

His extensive experience includes providing emergency mental health therapy and working with a diverse range of clients facing chronic medical and mental health issues. Previously, Charles served as the Director of Care Management at one of the busiest hospitals in Los Angeles, where he led a dedicated team within the Care Management Department.

Charles has significant expertise in addressing complex trauma, domestic violence, relationship issues, and providing grief counseling. He employs an eclectic, person-centered approach in his therapeutic practice, specializing in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem issues, trauma, and grief.

Charles is well-trained in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Traditional Talk Therapy.
